Sorry guys, but I have to take another quick break from posting. This one won’t be nearly as long though. Have a computer issue I need to take care of and then I’ll be back to posting daily! Promise!
If I stay perfectly still, maybe it’ll just go away on its own… nope. It has a camera. This is gonna take a while.
Oh… uh, hey there. It was totally like this when I found it. Honest.
Hey! Do I burst in on you and take pictures when you’re in the shower?? Rude!
Allow me to indulge myself for a moment here as this photo reminded me of a personal story I wanted to share. So recently, there has been a mysterious black kitty showing up around my mother-in-law’s house (right next door to us), asking for food and cuddles. Never one to turn away an animal in need, my mother-in-law welcomed him in with open arms – not just giving him food but giving him a nice warm place to stay when the weather outside is nasty. She noticed the little guy had a rather foul odour and after trying everything to get the stench off his fur (probably from wherever he had been staying), she decided to give the little guy a shower. You might expect this to go poorly. It did not. Never in my life have I seen a cat that so loved water. Now when he comes in, he heads straight for the shower and waits for his rinse down. Strangest thing I’ve ever seen. And not to worry – since he seems to have moved in, he’s been checked out by a vet and is perfectly healthy aside from the fact that the tiny thing is… wait for it… 15 years old! We don’t know how he ended up in this neighbourhood but however he did, he’s found himself a very loving, caring retirement home where he can get a shower whenever he wants.
Sure I kinda hated him when he first showed up but the little guy has really grown on me. There is no dispute a good couch snuggle can’t fix.
What’s this, then? Oh… just a whole pile of baby squirrels having a nap together.
I don’t know what that big yellow thing is over there but I am not coming out until it’s gone!
What? I herded. Now I’m napping. What’s the problem?
